A hands-on summer experience where teens learn to design and create with metal. Build foundational skills in Level 1, then take it further in Level 2 with more advanced techniques and projects.

TEEN METALSMITH RESIDENCY
June 3 - July 8: Level 1 METALSMITHING
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 2-5 pm (4 week session)
July 13 - July 15: Level 2 METALSMITHING
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday from 2-5 pm (2 week session)
Cost: $135 / week (9 hours of instruction per week)
Orientation: Parent and teen orientation (June 3 from 2-5 pm)
TEAL: TEEN EMERGING ARTISTS LAB [after Residency experience]
Wednesdays 6-9 pm beginning July 22, 2026
FIRE--HAMMERS--TOOLS! Take a mid-week break and join friends as you design and create jewelry and objects. No experience necessary. Participants from Teen Residency--- strengthen familiar skills and gain new techniques. New to Metalsmithing?--No problem! Join us as we explore how metals can be manipulated to create.
Single Session Artists: Expect to take home a completed piece.
We use Copper and Brass. If you would like to use Sterling Silver, it may be purchased.
