Class Description:

These class sessions are in six week segments throughout the year, with periodic breaks for holidays.

All skill levels are welcome, whether you are a beginner or have advanced skills.

Each person works at their own pace and on their own designs.

Instruction is a mix of focused 1:1 and group demonstrations.

Because people of all skill levels are in the same class, there is a rich opportunity for sharing ideas and growing a stimulating creative

community.

My goals as your instructor :

  • provide a studio with basic tools and equipment

  • teach both traditional metal fabrication and metal clay techniques, the advantages of each, and how to incorporate them in your designs.

  • guide you to create the designs of your choice based on your skill set, and as those skills grow, so will your designs.

  • I focus on a community spirit and value that creativity grows in an environment free of comparison, competition, judgment, and controversy.

  • I encourage a lightheartedness and to experiment as you learn new skills.

Workshops:

Periodically throughout the year, I will offer all day workshops.

Workshops are almost always intermediate level. The workshops will be on Saturday or Sunday and at times, they will be a two day workshop.

Workshops are topic focused. Everyone will learn the same techniques. As always, your designs will be your own.
