My Story
An amalgamation of experiences has interwoven to point me towards an atypical entry into the world of art. Childhood challenges left seeds which would later develop into a tendency toward introspection, curiosity and love for adventure, children, and discovery.
My “adult years”, filled with nursing and school psychology careers, loving my husband and 3 children, left me breathless. Now, after the busiest years, time by the sea, in nature and in my gardens lend moments of peace. Silversmithing, painting, rock climbing, pilates, walking, and reading fill the spaces in my days around time with my husband and dog.
Hidden within all this living , I am—have always been—an artist. I discovered this quite accidentally—for I had never described myself as “creative” and was quite surprised. I impulsively signed up for a jewelry class when I was about 50… a door I hadn’t been aware of opened. In my usual curious way, I began exploring this new world of art. Over the years, I’ve worked with a host of wonderful mentor-artists, many of whom I now know as friends. Curiosity continues to pull me deeper into this amazing realm of life.
Me—I am an observer, an adventurer, an artist. And I’m quite busy loving life!
