About the event
Textile Collage, Blending Colors with Fabric
As a working artist for 45 years, Tamara Scott Anderson holds a BA and BFA in Art. She has 35 years of experience working with textiles and color in the interior design field.
She has always had a passion for fabrics and textures. Her textural compositions and impressionistic patterning are rich in depth, created with multiple layers fabrics, beading and stitching embellishment. Having won awards for her intricate and inviting designs, she is going to share her techniques in this textural experience workshop.
This course is for students 18 + years with basic understanding of collage and embroidery. Students should have a desire to learn new approaches to collage and willing to spend time on home work between class sessions.
Class size is limited to 6 students to ensure a focused, supportive experience. Must fill class.
